Suzanne Levy is the Principal of the LEVY LAW & MEDIATION FIRM, P.C. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York for more than 30 years focusing on trusts and estates, elder law, mediation, related litigation, and commercial law. She is also the Co-Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee for the Nassau County Bar Association.
Suzanne is also appointed as a mediator on many NTS Court Rosters at the Supreme Court level, Surrogate’s court, and as a Special Master for the Appellate Division, 2nd Dept. |
She is appointed to the Part 146 Mediator Rosters for the Westchester Surrogate's Court, Suffolk County Commercial Division, Suffolk County Surrogate's Court, Nassau County Supreme Commercial Division and the 3rd Judicial District Surrogate's Court. Suzanne also serves as a Mediator in the 3rd and 4th Judicial Districts in New York. Additionally, the FIRM offers private Surrogate's Court, Elder Law, Family/Matrimonial, Commercial Mediation, Personal Injury, Wrongful Death, and Foreclosure Mediation services. All Mediations are currently held via Zoom.
Suzanne is frequently appointed by New York Court Judges as a Court Evaluator, Guardian for Incapacitated Persons, Guardian Ad Litem, Receiver, Foreclosure Referee for the NYS Courts. Ms. Levy also is an approved FINRA Arbitrator.

Depending on each client's unique personal and financial situation, Suzanne will provide clients with guidance and strategies to protect assets from a "Medicaid spend down" to enable them to become eligible for either Community Medicaid (in-home care) or Institutionalized Medicaid (nursing home care) benefits.
Suzanne graduated from the School of Management at the State University of New York at Binghamton with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management and Albany Law School with a Juris Doctor. She is a registered Life Insurance Agent by the NY State Department of Financial Services. She is also an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association, Past Co-Chair of the NCBA Elder Law Committee, member of ElderCounsel, Past member of Orion Resource Group, Gerontology Professionals of New York, Elder Counsel, Temple Israel in Great Neck and National Business Institute (NBI) speaker on Medicaid Planning. Additionally, Ms. Levy is a devoted mother to her daughter who is a University of Michigan senior and whose goal is to become a lawyer.
